Only connectΒ theΒ proseΒ and theΒ passion, and both will be exalted…
— E.M. Forster

College essays are all about connections.

Whether that’s how a love of crafting connects to family heritage and methods of learning; how a revelatory experience at a BeyoncΓ© concert changes how one encounters one’s identity and race; or how blending English and Arabic words becomes a symbol for one’s separation from and belonging to two distinct cultures.

(For my own college essay, it was how this quote by E.M. Forster from Howards End helped me understand physics through a passion for guitar.)

I help students connect their passions to their prose to write creative, original, memorable personal statements.

As any college advisor will tell you, it’s your application as a whole that determines your acceptance… but the essay is your chance to show your personality through your voice in a way no other part of the process can. I can’t promise that the essay will be the deciding factor, but I can promise that I’ll do my best to help you tell your story.

Below, please find some acceptances from students that I helped tell theirs.
